God Is One Step Ahead of the Enemy #2

Now the time of the banquet is prepared for King Ahasuerus and Haman. The king quickly gets to what is on the heart of his queen Esther.

She begins to share that there is a wicked man who has come to destroy her and her people. We have been sold, both I and my people to destruction and to slaughter and to annihilation!
Grant me my life as my request, and my people as my petition. The king responded, who is this individual? Where is this person to be found who has plotted this plan?

Esther responded, "The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman" The king arose from the table, and Haman realizes that his life is now in jeopardy. The king comes back from a moment in the palace garden and Haman is at the couch of Esther pleading for his life. The king orders for Haman to be hung on the gallows. Haman was hung on the gallows that he had made for Mordecai. Friend ,God is always a step ahead of the devil's plot of destruction for you and I.

Esther overcomes her fear to go to the king for her life and her people. She knew she stood to lose her own life by calling on the king outside of the custom times of 30 days.

God had a woman in the right place at the right time in order to bring about his redemption for the Jewish nation that was close to being destroyed.

What are you up against today, has the devil got you in a corner of hopelessness? Our God knows right where you are at this moment in your life. He can bring deliverance in your darkest hour.

Mordecai said to Esther, if you refuse to go, God will bring deliverance from another source. PTL she did use her faith to do what was right.
God will hear your cry as He did hear the cry of Mordecai and Esther and the Jewish people.

There is a wicked Haman still alive today, but so is there a God that delivered the people of God. He is the same yesterday today and forever. Go on to sleep tonight and know that God is for you and not against you. If God be for you, who can be against you. Be confident today that God is on your side, and no Haman has the power to take you out.

God Is One Step Ahead of the Enemy #1

Esther 2:17  Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

This is a story of how God is always a step ahead of the devil's plot to destroy the people of God. Vashti, the king's queen is removed for showing disrepect to him. So the king has a beauty contest to find a new queen for his kingdom.

God chooses a young beautiul lady named Esther. She is a Jew, and her parents had been killed through the invasion of King Nebuchadnezzer in Jerusalem. Her uncle, Mordecai has been watching over during this time.

There was a man that the king had promoted named Haman. It was the custom of the land for everyone to bow down and show honor to this official. Mordacai could not stomach to bow down to him, so Haman chooses to go to the king to rid himself of a certain people who he says does not keep the kings laws. King Ahasuerus gives his approval, and the order is set to destoy all these people which unknowingly are the Jews.

It so happens that while Mordecai was at the gates of the king one day, that he over- hears a plot to kill King Ahasuerus. He tells Esther, and she reports to the king Mordecai's findings. This one action saved the kings life and the plotters were hung and killed.

When Mordecai is told what Haman is up to, He crys out to God and covers himself with sackcloth and ashes. When Esther hears of the report of the coming destruction of the Jews, she tells her uncle to fast and pray for me for 3 days. No one should eat or drink the next few days to see what I should do.

Esther is granted a audience with the king, even thou she's at risk for going to him outside of the laws customs of every 30 days. The king grants her request and says, come on in Esther, what is it that you are wanting?
Esther kindly ask King Ahasuerus to come to a banquet that she would like to give to the king and Haman.
He accepts the invitation and the stage is set for both of them to come the next day.

The night before the banquet, Haman has been building gallows to hang Mordecai, and the king is unable to sleep. He ask that the historical records be read, While he is listening to the stories, It's read that Mordecai has saved the king's life from those wanting to assassinate the  king. He ask, what was ever done to show this man honor for his actions. Nothing was done, was the response. Haman happen to be in the king's court, he ask him, what should be done to a man that I would like to honor, he's thinking he is wanting to honor me.

Haman says, put him on the king's horse and parade him down the streets in the king's robes. So the king responded, put it into action, for Mordecai is to be honored in the city.               Part 1

Oxymoron

Job 1:21 Naked I came from my mother's womb, naked I'll return to the womb of the earth. God gives, God takes. God's name be ever blessed.

When I use the terms, hot ice, controlled chaos, open secret, and organized mess, alone in a crowd, you might respond, huh? Do you want to make that a bit clearer to me, so I know what you're talking about. Those are all apparent oxymoron's.

If you live very long, there will times in your life that some things won't make sense.

As you read the book of Job, you will come to understand even more, that we walk not by sight, but by faith. That the just live by faith. That without faith it is impossible to please God.

As you read along there may be more questions than you have the answers for.

My grandpa use to work puzzles, and a rubik's cube that was very hard to work through. In the beginning he would work long hours working through it to a solution.

In life, you and I will come to some curves in the road that we will wonder, "how am I going to work through this dilemma? It may with your job, in your marriage, with your kids rebellion, or with your health, or it may be with  your outlaws, I mean your in-laws.

Job had 3 friends that came to him in the nightmare of his suffering and pain. They just knew  they had the missing piece; they had the answer to the oxymoron of his life.

They said," surely there must be some hidden sin in your life. They should have continued to stay quiet like they started out in the first 7 days. Unless you have walked where another man has walked, I would advice you to think long and hard before you speak. There is death and life in the tongue, and so many have said things to a friend in their nightmare that was far from being life.

So what do we make of this story of Job?
Most of us will face some incredible waves and winds that may come out of nowhere.
Remember these things.
God is for you and not against you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
Be confident of this very thing, that He that has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Friend , Never, Never, Never give up, even when life looks hopeless, As long as He is on the throne, He is standing up for you today, cheering you on to the finish line. He will complete what He has started in you.

By the way, before it was over, Job was blessed with twice as much. Is it worth it to keep pressing? You better believe it is, this life is but a vapor, one day will live with Christ in heaven forever and forever .Yes, Satan will be cast into a bottomless pit. Wow, forever will rule and reign with Christ.
