Move into 2018 Remembering and Declaring

"Everything is possible for one who believes." Mark 9:23
Make those words personal. Everything is possible when I believe. ”Satan doesn’t want to hear those words out of your mouth. After God had done many miracles for Israel, “They soon forgot what the Lord had done for them and did not wait for his plans to unfold.” Psalms 106:13
It’s so important to daily listen to Him in His word. Ask Him daily, Lord, what are you saying to me today through your word, and in my staying in tune with the Holy Spirit. Don’t allow your quiet time to just become a ritual, but rather the richest part of your day where you find the great treasures and gems of life. That is being in His will and His fullness for your life.
Then, make it a point to remember what He has done in the past, and declare, He can do it again.
We are leaky vessels; we have a way of forgetting what He has done in the past. David declared, “Many O Lord God are thy wonderful works you have done, if I would speak or declare of them they are more than can be numbered.” Ps 40:5
Start journaling your breakthroughs, your miracles, and the answers to your prayers. Have you ever added them up, all that He has done for you in your marriage, your family, your kids, your finances, your health, your job, your dreams, and your breakthroughs?

Satan works overtime to exacerbate your struggles to the point that we forget His greatness, which weakens our faith, How many times has He come through for you? Start out the New Year remembering His goodness, his mercies, and the miracles that keep coming and declare, He is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Storms Don't Last Forever!

2017 is almost over, and you’ve probably been through a few winds of adversity that have either strengthen your faith or have caused you to accept and live with disappointment.
One of the worst things you can do is make a permanent decision in a temporary difficulty! Joyce Myers says, "Let emotions subside before you decide."
I've learned from fishing on the lakes and rivers in Florida, storms can pop up quick but they are short-lived. Now I've been through some hurricanes too that have knocked the wind out of us, and it takes a lot of grit in your faith to get back on your feet and rebuild from the storm. The point is, Storms don't last forever!
Jesus told his disciples to get in the boat and said, "Let us go to the other side." It's wonderful to know that what The Lord started in our lives, He is more than able to complete the journey and take us to the other side. But most of us are like Peter who woke the Lord up in that storm and said, "We're going to die."
Its true, in the storm Satan tries to convince us that yes we are going to die. But that is a lie out of hell. Trust Jesus, He is more than able to take each of us to the other side with success.

TURNING the Negative Situation into a Positive Solution

1 Sam 37:17a David said, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.
You can choose to think the worst of your stress and struggle, or like David, you can choose to remember how God showed up in your last situation.
Possibly you’re in a battle today with your work, your marriage, your finances, your health, your kids, or your dreams? Satan always defeats people with doubt, but God performs the miraculous when we choose to believe that He is still with us regardless of our present situation.
David moved forward and defeated Goliath because he said; “the same God that delivered me from the bear and the lion is the same that will deliver me from this giant.
Do you still remember the bears, the lions that God delivered you from?  It’s your solution to winning in your next struggle.
David refused to live with panic in facing Goliath because he chose to think about how God was with him in fighting off a bear and lion.

Choose to believe, “GOD, you did it then, and YOU can do it again.”

Driven with Christ Thoughts

One of my professors at SEU said, " What you Feed will grow, but what you starve will die." Crandall Miller,
Why did Paul say, “I press toward the mark?” One of the reasons was, he had brought great pain and persecution against the early church. He threw Christians into prison. How would Paul get past his mistakes? How would he pick himself up?
Paul declares, "I am what I am by the grace of God." Paul did some horrible things to the early church, but he becomes one of the front champions in leading Christ church.
I believe mans greatest struggle is what he thinks on between his ears. Joyce Meyers says, “The battle is in the mind.”
The apostle Paul through experience instructs us how to think. "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Phil 2:5 "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Phil 4:8 "

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Joshua 1:8

God's Mailbox

Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Without His word, you will get weak and surely fall. He told Joshua in leading Israel, "This book of the law shall thou meditate therein day and night that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8
There is no other way to have success in your faith in God. I've learned over the years, it all starts with a DISCIPLINE to seek His word each day. Then your DESIRE to read and meditate on it will increase more and more. Then it will become a great DELIGHT to see what He will say to you each day through His Word.
Years ago before marrying my Vonnell, she went to England to stay with her dad for 3 months. We wrote each other every day through snail mail. There was no email back then. I couldn't wait to see what she would write every day. One day, 13 days in a row, there was no letter. I began to doubt and get discouraged, and put into question our relationship. Then one day, 13 letters showed up in the mailbox. Only then was my confidence restored.
Friend go to the mailbox everyday and see what God has to say in His word. O what a difference it will make in your success.

Pronounce God's Blessings

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May God smile on you and gift you. May God look you full in the face and make you prosper." Numbers 6:24
I believe this pronouncement over people would change the outcome of relationships, friendships, and our success of future blessings.

What a great way to begin and end our conversations with our spouse, our kids, our friends, our neighbors, and pastors to your church to Pronounce God’s favor and blessing upon one another.

Proverbs 18:21 warns us, “There is death and life in the tongue.” How seriously do we take this word? 1Peter 3:10 "He that will love life and see good days let him refrain his tongue from evil that his lips speak no guile.”

Why would we end a conversation on a down note or with anger or with negativity? Why not begin and end it with positive and encouraging words? Sure all of us face and encounter challenging situations, but why don’t we choose words that declare Victory like, "No weapon formed against us will prosper. "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” And If God be for me who can be against me?”

Let the first and last thing we say each day be a blessing and encouraging one another with the confidence that God is with you. A statement that declares "Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world."

Let It Go !!!

Loving God, your spouse and your friends may not be a challenge, but loving someone who's done wrong against you may become a challenge.

But what about how we've wronged God? We have all sinned and have come short of the glory of God.

Forgiving people is one of the most liberating actions you will ever take in life. "
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too." Mark 11:25

“ Let it go, Get over it, life is to short to poison your life and soul with unforgiveness.

When you hold ought in your heart, God says now I can’t forgive you for your own trespasses. But as we forgive others, God says now I will also forgive you for your trespasses.

If you want your joy tank to be full, fill it with showing mercy, grace and forgiving others. Then He will fill your tank with Joy, Peace, fulfillment, and contentment.

Go ahead let it go and let God pour a fresh fill-up of His glory and a river of JOY that will flow out of your soul.

FIND A NEED AND FILL IT

Danny BAGGETT
10 minutes
Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” My wife and I have watched the hand of God open the heavens over our lives as a result of being obedient in our giving.

Many years ago I heard Bill Wilson say, "Find a need and fill it." He was at our church preaching and I gave this introduction of how he must have heard from God to go to New York and at that time was reaching and ministering weekly to 10,000 kids each week. The first words out of "his mouth" were, "Folks I didn't hear God tell me to go to New York, I just found a need and filled it."

"WOW" I won't go into the theology of that statement but I will say many times we are wrong in waiting on God's BIG booming voice to speak to us to go and fill a need.

Most of Jesus miracles were interruptions that "He filled the need when it came before him." What about you and me?

ARE YOU WAITING FOR THE NEXT BIG SUPERMOON?

When stepping outside tonight, the moon will be 7% larger and 15% brighter than normal, which may be hard to discern without a direct comparison of a normal moon beside it.
Tonight the moon will be 16,000 plus miles closer in its orbit around the earth. The 2016 Supermoon on November 14, 2016, was the closest the moon got to the Earth since 1948, which won't happen again until November of 2034, 17 years from now.
Is God bigger than what we see in our day-to-day life? I’m learning to TRUST HIM “through the seasons and NOT by the seconds.” If you live waiting for the next Big Supermoon in 2034, you’re going to miss out on a lot of beauty that will be displayed over the next 17 years.
Don’t miss God’s beauty along the way in just waiting for the NEXT Big Supermoon that God has planned in your dreams and hopes in life.

Today, look for what God has in store for your life. Today is the day of Salvation. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Yes, the Supermoon of your dreams will come, but God is at work even when you can’t see HIM at work today. Believe in Him. For we walk not by sight, but by faith. 2 Cor 5:17 Trust him by the seasons and not by the seconds.
