Now the time of the banquet is prepared for King Ahasuerus and Haman. The king quickly gets to what is on the heart of his queen Esther.
She begins to share that there is a wicked man who has come to destroy her and her people. We have been sold, both I and my people to destruction and to slaughter and to annihilation!
Grant me my life as my request, and my people as my petition. The king responded, who is this individual? Where is this person to be found who has plotted this plan?
Esther responded, "The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman" The king arose from the table, and Haman realizes that his life is now in jeopardy. The king comes back from a moment in the palace garden and Haman is at the couch of Esther pleading for his life. The king orders for Haman to be hung on the gallows. Haman was hung on the gallows that he had made for Mordecai. Friend ,God is always a step ahead of the devil's plot of destruction for you and I.
Esther overcomes her fear to go to the king for her life and her people. She knew she stood to lose her own life by calling on the king outside of the custom times of 30 days.
God had a woman in the right place at the right time in order to bring about his redemption for the Jewish nation that was close to being destroyed.
What are you up against today, has the devil got you in a corner of hopelessness? Our God knows right where you are at this moment in your life. He can bring deliverance in your darkest hour.
Mordecai said to Esther, if you refuse to go, God will bring deliverance from another source. PTL she did use her faith to do what was right.
God will hear your cry as He did hear the cry of Mordecai and Esther and the Jewish people.
There is a wicked Haman still alive today, but so is there a God that delivered the people of God. He is the same yesterday today and forever. Go on to sleep tonight and know that God is for you and not against you. If God be for you, who can be against you. Be confident today that God is on your side, and no Haman has the power to take you out.
